Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
waged war against prayer in our children's schools for years. Nancy Pelosi voted against the School Prayer
Amendment back in 1998. And just two short months after the horrific terrorist
attacks on America in 2001, Nancy Pelosi even voted against allowing our
children to pray in their schools to comfort them during the War on Terror!
ON
the other hand, Speaker of the House John Boehner supports prayer in our
children's schools. John Boehner voted
for the School Prayer Amendment, and for allowing our children to pray in
their schools.
Whose
position on prayer do you support? Please let me know on the enclosed "National Poll on School Prayer"?
Speaker
John Boehner has made his position clear -- America's children should be allowed to pray in their
schools.
But
after years of anti-prayer policies implemented by leftist Nancy Pelosi,
Speaker Boehner is going to need our help to finally restore prayer to our

Congress to act, by demonstrating that you and I and the American people stand
FOR prayer -- and AGAINST Nancy Pelosi's
anti-prayer legacy.

matter what Barack Obama or the ACLU or any other liberal has to say!

restoring prayer in our children's schools!

friend, this isn't the first time APN
has worked with one of our nation's leaders to defend religious freedom in America.
America's Prayer Network worked with Congressman Ernest Istook to fight for his Religious Freedom
Amendment.
America's Prayer Network took a stand with former Alabama Governor Fob James when
he fought to protect the rights of citizens of faith and prayer.
And America's Prayer Network backed Judge Roy Moore when he was attacked for displaying the Ten
Commandments in his courtroom.
Senator
Jesse Helms even said America's Prayer
Network is the key to getting prayer
back in our classrooms, and applauded our efforts as "historically
important". Senator Helms also said that America's Prayer Network deserves the support of the American
people.
Senator
Helms is exactly right. And during this historic campaign to restore school
prayer and fight Nancy Pelosi's anti-prayer legacy, APN needs the support of
Americans of faith like you more than ever.
Can
I count on you to complete your "National Poll on School Prayer" for
Speaker John Boehner and rush it back to me in today's mail?
And
can I count on you to contribute at least $25 to America's Prayer Network to assist us in our campaign to
restore prayer in our children's schools?
We
are trying to get one million of these "National Polls on School
Prayer" printed, distributed, collected and tabulated for Speaker John

delivered them to the White House.

our Prayer Cards were delivered, one of the top White House staffers called America's Prayer Network to tell us how much President Bush
appreciated all the Prayer Cards we delivered, told us
how much our prayers helped the President!
So
I'm especially hopeful that Speaker John Boehner will gratefully receive our
"National Poll on School Prayer" responses, and in turn immediately
work to restore school prayer and fight to overturn the Pelosi legacy against
prayer in America.
But
this project -- involving one million or more "National Polls on School
Prayer" -- is going to be costly beyond words.
That's
why I need your contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or
more to APN today, along with your completed "National Poll on School
Prayer".
Remember,
our goal is to collect one million "National Polls on School Prayer"
and deliver the results to Speaker John Boehner. My staff estimates that the
bill for this campaign will be at least $420,000!
But
we can do it with your help. There are enough Americans of faith out there to
