Bible Verses (Satan)
before the LORD, and Satan came
(Job 1:6-12 KJV) "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
{7} And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
{8} And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
{9} Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
{10} Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
{11} But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
{12} And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD."
before the LORD, and Satan came
(Job 2:1-7 KJV) "Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
{2} And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
{3} And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
{4} And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
{5} But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
{6} And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
{7} So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown."

(Mat 13:25 KJV) "But while men slept, his
enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way."
adversary the devil
(1 Pet 5:8-10 KJV) "Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: {9} Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. {10} But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."
great dragon was cast out
(Rev 12:7-10 KJV) "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, {8} And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. {9} And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. {10} And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
(Rev 12:11 KJV) "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
R
beheld Satan as lightning
(Luke 10:18 KJV) "And he said unto them,
I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."
bound him a thousand years
(Rev 20:1-3 KJV) "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
{2} And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, {3} And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."
thousand years are expired
(Rev 20:7 KJV) "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,"
R
deceive the nations
(Rev 20:8-10 KJV) "And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. {9} And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. {10} And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false
prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
R
it shall bruise thy head
(Gen 3:14-15 KJV) "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
{15} And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
serpent was more subtle
(Gen 3:1 KJV) "Now the
serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"
fallen from heaven, O Lucifer
(Isa 14:4 KJV) "That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!"
(Isa 14:12-17 KJV) "How art thou fallen from heaven, O
Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
{13} For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
{14} I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
{15} Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
{16} They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
{17} That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?"
father of it (lies)
(John 8:42-47 KJV) "Jesus said unto them,
If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
{43} Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
{44} Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
{45} And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
{46} Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
{47} He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."
